We are Eric and Angie Christensen, and Valdez has been home to our family for the past twenty years.
What started as a place we were excited to explore quickly became the community where we built our life, raised our five kids, and found adventure that has shaped who we are.
Living in Valdez means being surrounded by mountains, ocean, and endless opportunities to get outside-and we’ve embraced all of it.
Whether we’re hiking through summer trails, skiing deep winter snow, fishing the Sound, or heading into the backcountry to hunt, this landscape is woven into our everyday life.
We love the pace, the people, and the sense of connections that comes from calling Valdez home. After two decades here, we’re still discovering new corners of this place and new reasons to appreciate it.
